Rebecca Bauer (Costume Designer) has been part of Servant Stage from the beginning, from helping to start the company in 2011 and serving on the board of directors to designing costumes for many Servant Stage shows over the years. She also enjoys being on stage, and has performed with Servant Stage and many other local theatres. Originally from New Hampshire, she now lives in Strasburg with her husband, Johnathan, and children, Gabriel, Jubilee, and Emmanuel.

Jen Brace (Stage Manager) is excited to be working with Servant Stage as a stage manager after doing many shows with them in the audio realm over the past year. In her time at Penn State University, she served as Technical Director of No Refund Theatre and worked on shows in a wide range of roles from assistant director to lighting designer. Outside of theatre, she is an elementary teacher and amateur Irish dancer. 

Kelsey Buffington (Music Director) Kelsey is so excited to be returning to this beloved show and its marvelous music! A native of Lancaster, Kelsey graduated a music education major from Susquehanna University and has been delighted to perform in theaters in the area and around the country for the last 15 years. Some local favorites include Sight and Sound, Dutch Apple, Mount Gretna and Prima. She has loved getting to dive into music directing over the years and this show is definitely on the top of her favorites. Enjoy the show!  

Tirzah Byers (Stage Manager) is so excited to be managing the stage for this stellar girl power cast! Tirzah is currently a junior at Lancaster Bible College studying musical theater and stage management. You may have most recently seen Tirzah in SOMETHING ROTTEN (Portia), DADDY LONG LEGS (Jerusha Abbot), TUCK EVERLASTING (Featured Dancer/Winnie Foster u/s), or BIG FISH (Alabama Lamb/Featured Dancer). You may have also caught Tirzah assistant stage managing I’LL FLY AWAY with Servant Stage last summer! Tirzah could not be more grateful for her Servant Stage family for this opportunity and her family who continue to always support her. Psalm 46:10

Melissa Edwards (Lighting) After earning her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, Melissa worked behind the scenes at theatres in Kentucky, Nebraska, Virginia, New Jersey, and Connecticut before landing in Pennsylvania. She was the Associate Lighting Designer at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years, where she met her husband and biggest supporter, Curt. Since then, Melissa has worked with Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, Reverie, Sight & Sound Conservatory, Dutch Wonderland, the Barn in Strasburg, and Servant Stage, focusing on both lighting design and stage management. She is passionate about supporting shows behind the scenes and mentoring students on the technical side of theatre so they too might discover a new passion.

Ken Martin (Audio Engineer) has been active in worship and worship tech since he was a teenager. Starting with private music lessons, singing with friends, and leading worship for many types of gatherings, from camp-fire sing-a-longs to congregational worship services. During his teen years a family friend who owned a small recording studio business welcomed Ken to observe, ask questions and serve beside the audio engineer at the board. This sparked an interest as Ken developed his “ear” for audio mixing and engineering. This led to many opportunities to learn and develop as a sound technician. Ken has served on staff at the Lancaster Evangelical Free Church (LEFC) since 1997, starting as the Worship Pastor, also serving as Worship Tech Director. Ken and Rita Martin have been married for 43 years and have two grown children, Kyle and Nate, and three grandchildren. Ken loves singing, leading worship, listening to music, photography, coffee and chocolate! Ken is grateful to be able to serve the audio tech needs for Servant Stage.

Geoff Morgan (Wigs/Hair/Makeup) Geoff got his start in musical theatre and special effects hair and make up in High School and then professionally in 2015. He has designed and worked on multiple productions in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania and has also enjoyed teaching workshops and masterclasses throughout the area. Since living in Lancaster, Geoff has worked with Sight & Sound, the Fulton, Servant Stage, PRiMA, Magic and Wonder, Piercing Word, and Lancaster Bible College both onstage and off and appreciates each opportunity he is provided to perform or work alongside so many talented individuals. When not at the theater, Geoff is the Events Director for Victory Church, a multisite church throughout Lancaster County. Enjoy the show!

Shaun Ressler (Audio Engineer) It's always a joy to work with Servant Stage, both on stage and behind the soundboard. Some of Shaun’s favorite performances with Servant Stage include ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK (featured ensemble), JOY TO THE WORLD (featured ensemble), OLD TIME GOSPEL RADIO HOUR (Gospel Quartets, 3 times), TITANIC (Guggenheim/Major), and FOREVER PLAID (Smudge). He holds a BA in Music Business/Technology (Voice) and a BS in Computer Science from Millersville University and currently works as a Software Engineer for Cargas Systems. Shaun has a passion for theater, sound design, and singing, and has worked and acted with many area production companies. Megan Lynn Schmidt (Props and Suzy) is a 2020 graduate of Ithaca College where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. She is a proud Alumni Actor/director of Missoula Children's Theatre where she toured all over the USA and overseas in Asia.  Outside of theatre, Megan teaches private voice lessons and works for the City of Lancaster as a Travel Coordinator. Megan had the honor of assistant directing and choreographing Servant Stage’s Youth Production of ANASTASIA. Some of Megan’s most notable onstage credits include Featured Singer (JINGLE BELL JUKEBOX), Maria Rainer, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Servant Stage); Rhonda, FANCY NANCY (Vital Theatre); Evelyn Nesbit, RAGTIME (NCC Summer Theatre); Sister Mary Patrick, SISTER ACT (Ithaca College).

Jenny Wolcott (Director, Choreographer) is pleased as punch to be making her Servant Stage directorial debut with this fun filled show about friendship. Jennifer is from Marion, IN and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Taylor University and a Masters of Music in Opera and Musical Theatre Performance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. After a decade of performing around the United States for companies like Blue Gate Theatre, Forte Theatre Productions, Servant Stage, and Sight and Sound Theatres among others, in 2021 Jennifer made the career shift off the stage and into the classroom. Miss Wolcott is currently a Professor of Musical Theatre at Western Kentucky University. She feels incredibly lucky to have found another passion in growing the minds and skill sets of the next generation of artists, while fostering and encouraging their passion. She loves to direct and choreograph and is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to keep working in professional theatre as she brings her knowledge back to the classroom. You may have seen Jennifer in Servant Stage’s 2018 run of the Marvelous Wonderettes as Cindy Lou! This show is so close to her heart and she is honored to have been able to direct and choreograph such an incredible new group of women. Kayllen Cox (Betty Jean) hails from Northeast Arkansas and is a graduate of the Sight and Sound Conservatory. She performed in the ensemble of Sight and Sound Theatres’ QUEEN ESTHER and post-graduation has been enjoying performing among the talent at Piercing Word in their tours of PASSION: THE MUSICAL and THE ADVENT OF CHRISTMAS. Kayllen has also been a featured vocalist at Gretna Theatre as well as U/S Lucy in JEKYLL AND HYDE. Most recently with Servant Stage, she was seen in the ensemble and understudying the Witch in BIG FISH. Some of her most treasured roles include Morgan in GODSPELL, the Baker’s Wife from INTO THE WOODS, and Lucy Van Pelt from YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Riley Fidler (Suzy Understudy) is very thankful to be included in Servant Stage’s production of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES. Riley attends Conestoga Valley High School. She is a student of dance, voice, and acting. She is a 4-year member of Servant Stage Teen Company. Some of Riley’s favorite roles are Marian Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN, Meg Giry in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Miss Honey in MATILDA JR., Radio Assistant in OLD TIME GOSPEL RADIO HOUR, Issachar in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, and Genie in ALADDIN JR. Riley would like to thank the Servant Stage team, her voice coach, Jeannette Wehye, and her family for their encouragement and support!

Samantha Grinage (Suzy) is making her Servant Stage debut! She is a graduate of the Sight & Sound Conservatory, class of 2022, and can often be seen touring with Piercing Word Ministries. Some of her favorite theatre credits include NEXT TO NORMAL (Natalie Goodman), HAMLET (Ophelia), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Hodel), GODSPELL (Celisse and George), AIDA (Amneris), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Audrey), and being the Baby Elephant and a Dancer Swing in Sight & Sound’s QUEEN ESTHER. When she isn’t performing she enjoys reading, baking, all sorts of arts and crafts, volunteering at her church, and spending time with friends and family. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for playing most of these songs in the car constantly while she was growing up and unknowingly preparing her for this show years in advance.

Tori Guhl (Betty Jean Understudy) is so excited to return to Servant Stage in one of her dream roles! This fall, she will be a junior at Millersville University, where she is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Music. She was last seen at SSC in the ensemble of BIG FISH. Some favorite past credits include CINDERELLA (Cinderella), THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Carlotta), THE MUSIC MAN (Marian), and GODSPELL (Sonia). In addition to musical theatre, she is also involved in the Lititz Area Community Choir. Bethany Huff (Betty Jean), a California native, is 24 years old and beyond thrilled to be involved in her second SSC production! She’s secretly dreamt of being in a barbershop quartet and this show feels like a dream come true. At the end of 2020, Bethany moved to PA to spend two years in the Sight & Sound Conservatory. There she studied many aspects of musical theatre all while performing in QUEEN ESTHER. Since graduating, she’s been involved in various productions including two full-time tours with Piercing Word, which gave her the chance to perform and spread the gospel across the country. Bethany grew up adoring theatre since the age of 8. Some favorite past roles: Dorothy (THE WIZARD OF OZ), Sophie (MAMMA MIA), the Stage Manager (OUR TOWN), and Uzo (GODSPELL). Outside of performing, she’s an avid coffee lover, passionate poke bowl enthusiast, and pursuer of all things kindness.

Kayleigh Jarkowsky (Cindy Lou Understudy) is ecstatic to be back home for the summer participating in THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES! Kayleigh is a rising sophomore at Ohio Northern University studying Musical Theatre and Marketing. Some of Kayleigh’s favorite Servant Stage credits include OLD TIME GOSPEL RADIO HOUR, DON’T ROCK THE JUKEBOX, RAGTIME, and THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. (Ariel). Other favorites include PIPPIN (Catherine) with Susquehanna Stage, NEWSIES (Katherine) and SEUSSICAL (Gertrude) with HCS, and most recently 9 TO 5 (Ensemble, Judy U/S) at ONU. Kayleigh is honored to be a part of this amazing production and to be pursuing a career that brings her so much joy. Kayla Klase (Missy) is thrilled to reprise the role of Missy with these Marvelous Wonderettes! She has performed in several shows with Servant Stage including BIG FISH (Jenny Hill), JOY TO THE WORLD, and AMAZING GRACE (Mary Catlett). Other regional credits include: RAGTIME, A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Mrs. Cratchit), SISTER ACT (Mary Martin-of-Tours), and GODSPELL (Anna Maria). Kayla is so grateful for all the love and support from her friends and family, especially her son, Nolan. And a special thanks to her favorite sound guy and husband, Shaun!

Lily Klees (Cindy Lou) is an upstate NY native, currently based in Lancaster county, and is so excited to be working with Servant Stage this season! She is currently working with Sight & Sound Theaters on DANIEL, and her most recent and favorite credits include MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS, MOSES, and DAVID. She cannot wait to share the joyful, and fun show that MARVELOUS WONDERETTES is with you. She sends all love to her husband Avery, and all Glory to God!

Cassie Meck (Missy) grew up in Lancaster and often went to see Servant Stage productions, and she feels so blessed to perform with them for the first time! Cassie graduated from the Sight & Sound Conservatory in May 2024 where she had the amazing opportunity to be in the cast of MOSES (2023) and MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS (2023). She also had the privilege of performing with Piercing Word this past year in PASSION: THE MUSICAL. Cassie has always enjoyed performing, but the past two years with the conservatory have really enhanced her love for it. Other favorite roles include Grace (RADIUM GIRLS), Dorothy (THE WIZARD OF OZ), and Peggy (GODSPELL). Besides theater, Cassie enjoys running her photography business (@cassiegracephotos) and spending time with her family and friends. She would like to give all the glory to her savior Jesus Christ who has so graciously taught her to seek his face, always.

Ella Murray (Missy Understudy) is excited to be performing with Servant Stage again, having previously been in I’LL FLY AWAY last summer as well as PRODIGAL and JUKEBOX SATURDAY NIGHT.  She has acted with several theatres in the Lancaster/Lebanon area including Gretna Theatre and Piercing Word. She currently studies in the musical theatre program at Messiah University where she recently played Lily in ALABAMA STORY, Shelby in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and Babe in CRIMES OF THE HEART. “Love and thanks to my parents, family, and friends who continue to encourage me to pursue my dreams.”
